The all-electric cutter-head suction dredge “Sandpiper” is one of very few electric dredges in California. This is the dredge that founded Pacific Dredge & Construction. PMG bult on the success and popularity of the Sandpiper in Santa Barbara by adding other suction dredge equipment and capabilities to our fleet. Today, PMG is an experienced, competitive expert in suction dredging from the San Francisco Bay area to the Sierras and inland man-made lakes, rivers, dams and reservoirs and all down the coast all the way to Long Beach, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Our dredge team benefits from our parent company Pacific Maritime Group dba Pacific Tugboat Service. By pooling resources and creating efficiencies, we can offer the best of both companies.

Of course, we offer mechanical dredging as well as hydraulic dredging. We have the newest fleet of dump scows on the West Coast from 300cy up to 2,200cy. We have miles of dredge pipe, multiple digging rigs from truckable portable solutions up to Ocean going four-point mooring barges. We innovate constantly to build safer, more efficient and cost-effective equipment, methods and employ the best people in the business.

We operate all of our own equipment, but we also charter and lease equipment.
