Following a diesel oil spill from a generator at a hospital near Thousand Steps Beach, PMG was contracted to provide a landing craft, tug and barge to assist with the beach cleanup. We brought heavy equipment that was utilized to remove contaminated sand from the beach. This contaminated sand was loaded onto our landing craft and then taken to our PTS-1 barge and stored. We removed the contaminated sand back at our LB facility. We also brought clean new sand to replace the sand that had been removed.
