Pacific Tugboat Service believes in vessel names that have a connection to community, values and tradition. From time to time, the Company elects vessels from its fleet that would be ideal candidates for re-naming. Most often, this has included school children from the local neighborhood, who have an opportunity to learn about the maritime industry and meet mariners and visit working vessels. The experience is capped-off with a ceremony and unavailing of the new name. These events leave a lasting impression on all who participate and a legacy for the namesake.
